Celebrating caregivers: Give a High Five!
Enhancing our patient experience starts by hiring and retaining the best caregivers.
Our caregivers deserve recognition and thanks for the work they do and for their commitment to compassionate care.
Any of us can recognize a coworker.
You should have a recognition toolkit or "treasure chest" in your department. (If you’re not sure where it's located, please ask your supervisor.) Inside you'll find thank you cards and post-it notes to make it easy to send a little note of thanks to someone who's made a difference. You'll also find some recognition forms to nominate a caregiver for a Circle of Excellence Award, a team for a Spotlight Award, or a physician for an Extraordinary Doctor Award. These awards are meant to honor those caregivers and providers who go above and beyond their normal roles.
